Joining a club or organization in high school is a fantastic way to build friendships, develop new skills, and explore your interests. It enhances your school experience, boosts your confidence, and helps you grow as a leader. Plus, it looks great on college applications! Get involved and make the most of your high school years! See below for what HHS has to offer. If you want to start a new club or organization, please see Administration on how to do this.
Student Council: The student council helps share students' ideas, interests, and concerns with teachers and school principals. They often also help raise funds for schoolwide activities, including social events, community projects, helping people in need, and school reform.
FFA: FFA is a dynamic youth organization that changes lives and prepares members for premier leadership, personal growth, and career success through agricultural education.
NHS: The National Honor Society (NHS) is the nation's premier organization established to recognize outstanding high school students. More than just an honor roll, NHS serves to recognize those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, service, leadership, and character.
Speech and Debate: Speech and Debate is a CHSAA-sponsored program wherein high school students compete in a range of debate and speaking events, has granted students everywhere opportunities and a superior educational experience beyond the classroom.
Thespian Club: Theater Club is a vibrant community of students passionate about the performing arts. We collaborate to produce plays, explore acting techniques, and learn behind-the-scenes skills like stage management and set design. Whether you’re on stage or behind the scenes, everyone is welcome to express their creativity and develop a love for theater. Join us for rehearsals, workshops, and exciting performances throughout the year!
